Do I choose an AI model?
No. Betahard manages its AI service and uses ElevenLabs for primary transcription, with a built-in local Whisper fallback.
Do I need API keys?
Users do not need to enter API keys. Service access is managed by Betahard.
Does it work offline?
Local Whisper transcription can work offline after setup. Primary ElevenLabs transcription and AI assistance require internet.
Will it be fast on my computer?
The app uses small local engines to reduce resource use. Actual speed varies with your processor, available memory, and audio quality. Local does not automatically mean faster on every device.
Where are my conversations stored?
Meeting history is saved on your computer. Primary transcription sends audio to ElevenLabs, and AI requests are processed through the Betahard service.
Can I download it for Mac and Windows?
Choose the installer for your computer: Mac Intel, Mac Apple Silicon, or Windows. Downloading is free. Starting an AI session requires approved trial or monthly access.
